So here we go. Bolognaise sauce. In case you forgot how to make it, fry onions, garlic and then add beef. Once slightly browned, add mushrooms, carrots and celery if you fancy it. Mix it all in and then add your tomatoes. I like to add a dash of Worcester sauce and tomato ketchup in mine.
Next bit is making the white sauce. Butter, flour, milk and then cheese..in that order on medium heat stirring constantly...no one likes lumpy sauce. Didn't take any pictures as everything had to be done quickly.
Layer the pasta and Bolognaise sauce and white sauce goes on top at the end.
Sprinkle more cheese, a bit of pepper and ground nutmeg for that little extra!
In to 180 degrees oven for 20-30 mins...and voila!
Plate up and serve while hot.
